I’m David Gillispie — cybersecurity engineer, builder, and founder of DeepDream Security. I started this company here in Cincinnati to give small and midsize businesses the kind of practical security guidance that’s usually reserved for big enterprises — stripped of jargon, focused on real risks, and built to move fast.

DeepDream is proudly rooted in Ohio. We work with the businesses that keep our communities running — clinics, agencies, law firms, nonprofits, and IT teams that don’t have time for red tape or bloated retainers. I’ve spent years in the trenches of vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance readiness. Whether it’s HIPAA, the FTC Safeguards Rule, or just wrangling your attack surface, I help businesses reduce exposure without overcomplicating it.

Back in 2019, I won first place nationwide in Network Design at the Business Professionals of America competition and earned the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam Excite Award for technical innovation. Those projects shaped how I work today — solving problems with purpose and delivering results that matter.
